  4. Thank you for evaluating GifLoader V1.1!

  6. Installation
  7. ============
  8.  
  9. To install, copy the contents of the GifLoader disk or ZIP
  10. file into a directory on your hard disk.  
  11.  
  12. GifLoader will NOT run unless GIFLOADR.HLP, REGISTER.EXE
  13. and NTHELPR.EXE are in the same directory as the executable 
  14. files.  The other files are not needed after you've read 
  15. them.
  16.  
  17. You may execute the program by double-clicking on the EXE
  18. in Explorer.  For most convenient use, create a Shortcut
  19. to be placed on your DeskTop or in the Start Menu.  By
  20. using a shortcut, you may customize the "Start In" options
  21. to have GifLoader automatically point at the location where
  22. you have stored your wallpaper files.
  23.  
  24. Getting Started
  25. ===============

  27. GifLoader initially displays the GIF files in the directory
  28. it was started from.  Navigate to the directory where you 
  29. have stored your wallpaper files.  Once there, select any
  30. file in the list to see a preview image; press the Apply
  31. button to display the selected image as your wallpaper.
  32.  
  33. The same applies to BMP (bitmap) files.  To see BMP files
  34. in the display, change the "Files of type" dropdown to
  35. "Bitmap Files".
  36.  
  37. Wallpaper can be displayed Centered, Tiled, and for those
  38. with Windows 95 Plus!, or Windows NT 4.0 installed, Stretched.  
  39. Experiment with these three settings to determine the 
  40. best setting for a given image file.
  41.  
  42. De-Installation
  43. ===============
  44.  
  45. Should you choose not to keep GifLoader, it may be 
  46. de-installed by deleting the files you restored from the
  47. distribution set.  Also, delete any shortcuts or Start Menu
  48. entries you may have created.  Finally, delete GIFLOADR.INI 
  49. and GIFLOADR.BMP from your Windows directory.  Thats it!

  51. Registration Benefits
  52. =====================
  53.  
  54. Registered copies of GifLoader will not pop up the 
  55. registration reminder dialog box.  Your registration code
  56. will work for future releases of GifLoader V1.
  57.  
  58. As a registered owner of GifLoader, you are entitled to
  59. early notification of new versions of GifLoader and 
  60. preferred technical support and new features.
  61.  
  62. And by registering GifLoader you are encouraging the
  63. continued development and distribution of shareware by 
  64. Tekra Software.  Support the Shareware concept!
